Heterogeneous groups

Heterogeneous groups

We base the division of our groups on a heterogeneous mixture of different ages. This allows the children to learn from each other and help each other. Each child goes through the cycle of being youngest, middle, and oldest several times. We follow the
following format:

Children House: children from 4 to 6 years old
Lower Elementary: children from 6 to 9 years old
Upper Elementary: children from 9 to 12 years old

Each pupil is placed in one of the mixed-age groups and is assigned a mentor.

Three times a year, in September, January and April, children can progress from one class to another. We aim to support each child’s cognitive and social development at all times.
