Treehouse Montessori was taken over by a new board in June 2023, which is currently transforming the school into a modern integrated child center with a deeply rooted international Montessori vision that focuses on the development of each individual child. Our school is located at Zuiderparklaan 45 in Bergschenhoek and currently consists of a Children’s House (4-6 years), a Lower Elementary (6-9 years) and an Upper Elementary (9 years and older).

We provide our education in a respectful, safe environment. The Montessori principle “Help me do it myself” is central to the way we work. We let the children discover, practice and experience for themselves where possible. We are close by when it is needed, for inspiration, instruction or reflection.

We were particularly inspired by Montessori education as offered abroad. We believe that the deeply rooted Montessori vision that we see there is the ultimate form of Montessori education. We wish this for every child. We believe that this type of education leads to responsible global citizens who can live together with others in peace and harmony. Children at our school are given responsibility and freedom from an early age. Every child is allowed to become who he is and every child is allowed to fully utilize and develop his talents and interests.
